THE JOINT

Tucked into the heart of East Rock, ONE6THREE is our cozy little corner pizza shop. we're Alexa and Andrew, a husband and wife team, and we've been making pies our way since we opened in February 2016 at the corner of Foster and Willow.

Not quite classic New Haven style, our crust runs a little thicker, built to hold all the toppings we love to pile on. The dough recipe is all Andrew's.

When it came to the menu, that was my turf. Every recipe is either something I created or something rooted in my family's cooking. Our food comes from places we've actually been and dishes we've loved. Like our take on chicken and waffles (in sandwich form) inspired by a trip to the South, poutine from a hockey road trip through Central Canada, and a Cuban sandwich that nods to me growing up in South Florida. And pizza? That's where it all started. Andrew's been making pies since he was 15, and we actually met while working on my family's pizza trucks → Old World Pizza Truck here in New Haven. Now you'll even see our 16 year old, Noah, slingin' dough a few nights a week.

Inside, you'll find tables Andrew made himself, a bench and bar that Andrew and my dad, Jack, built and stained together, and a laid back space that fits the neighborhood around us. When it's warm, we've got outdoor seating too.

Oh, and we’re BYOB. So bring your favorite drink, grab a pie, and hang out!
